Guarantee all people's right to create and maintain homes in self sustainable ways by providing their own food and power

Recent stories about self sustainable communities being shut down and certain states requiring homes to be connected to the power grid seem to be requiring people's participation in the monopolies of the food and power companies. Providing for ones own wants and needs was a common occurrence for most of the history of the US. This should be a guaranteed right of all Americans to pursue if they so choose and seems to be under attack by our own government. If ones own pursuit of happiness leads them to grow their own food and live with minimal electricity they should be free to pursue that lifestyle.
