The right to marriage and recognition of marriage should be guaranteed under the US constitution, and should not be held back in any way by state constitutions.
According to the National Survey of Sexual Health and Behaviour, taken in 2010, based on a sample of 6,000 people across the nation, seven percent of women, as well as eight percent of men, between the ages of 14 and 94, identified themselves as homosexual or bisexual.
The barbaric oppression of the LGBT community has been baseless and continued for centuries, denying those citizens basic human rights. It is time that said community is guaranteed equal rights, and for oppression of LGBT citizens to end, globally. We advocate the right to free sexuality and free marriage, to be recognised as legitimate.
