Despite being United States citizens, many people living in the United States territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands do not have the same voting rights as citizens residing in U.S. states.
The 15th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees "right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state."
Denying the right of United States citizens to vote is a violation of the 15th Amendment and should not be allowed. Tell the U.S. government that equal voting rights must be upheld for all U.S. citizens.
