As reasonable gun owners, we believe taking away arms from law-abiding citizens does nothing to hinder criminals. We vigorously fight any attempt to limit that, whether we are Democrat, Republican or Independent.
We also believe, however, that the mentally unbalanced, felons and those who have a demonstrated propensity to violence should not be allowed to own a firearm. We SHOULD have common-sense measures in place to ensure that, because it also helps us who are responsible to keep that right.
What we DON'T want is the government placing restrictions on what type of gun we own, how many rounds go in our magazine, nor keep us listed in a National Gun Registry. To cooperate with attempts to legislate gun safety, we must have GUARANTEES
