Edward Snowden needs to testify before Congress and the American people as to the content and nature of the information released regarding ongoing intelligence gathering of private information, data, phone and email records, accounts, phone logs, etcetera of private American citizens. In his interview (taken in HongKong, this morning and broadcast over NPR 6/10/2013 - he has clearly and cogently expressed concern over his safety consequent to his actions: A guarantee of personal safety from the Whitehouse may be his only avenue of recourse in making his case to the American people, resolution of immediately relevant issues of intelligence policies, national security and common civil liberties under the Constitution.
