Every time Congress and the White House squabble and reach a stalemate (usually before a fiscal year ends, etc.), we who are poor and who subsist on inadequate benefits are forced to worry about how we will pay our bills (and have sleepless nights) while the children in Washington throw temper tantrums and bicker over foolishness while defenseless seniors and disabled, as well as our honored veterans, and other less fortunate people in our society are left to worry about our welfare!
This must stop. The Obama Administration must guarantee that our benefits will be paid in the event of a shutdown. If legislation is required to create this guarantee, it should be drafted IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!
