Please encourage Congress to pass a law that requires the US Federal Government to give taxpayers a 13-month planning period from the day that any tax law is passed or any tax rule, regulation, or interpretation is made, until the day that action goes into effect. This law will allow citizens and busnesses time to prepare sensibly for the new rules, and remove much of the uncertainty about financial decisions.
