The Public schools are letting students down in some states, we need to have a national standard that all states have to follow. Why should one kid get a better education in a public school in one state, compared to another.
The teachings of Science, Math, and Language arts or Important to all students. In the case of Science being that some states can teach Creation as Science.
When it is not. Its a matter of Religion, and should stay out of Public school as Science. Science being, According to Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, the definition of science is "knowledge attained through study or practice," or "knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, esp. as obtained and tested through scientific method [and] concerned with the physical world." Creation is not.
