A mere suggestion.
Keep it Simple. Everyone can have any kind of gun they want. They can have 2 loaded magazines with their gun for their personal protection. They can own as much ammo as they like; however, the additional ammo will be keep in a public armory which will remain under the exclusive governance of its community. Local law enforcement can easily handle the duty of distributing private stores in the event of an local or national emergency. The guns are not the problem, the number of bullets are. This way we can protect our right to bear arms and keep our ammo with us. Each community can decide how they want to do it, but the point is keeping state and federal hands off our bullets. I'm sure with proper discussion the details can be worked out to be agreeable. Just sayn
