Gun control has failed Americans too many times. It's time to impose federal law for schools to have armed security.

Gun control is nothing but a failure for America's Schools. It is counterproductive as we continue to embrace for more and more gun control. With the recent attack in Oregon, we see that background checks do not work. We also see that Gun free zones do not work either. Our schools can not be left undefended anymore. Taking no action will ensure another attack. America can no longer afford to wait for law enforcement to show up 20 minutes later. This country is living in a new time where mass shootings are prevalent. There needs to be an executive order that requires schools to have at least one armed responder on campus at all times and/or during school hours either provided by federal funding or by having the states provide law enforcement in rotation to be on campus during hours.
