Since the constitution guarantees:
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness",
And the second amendment says:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
We must find a way to resolve the conflict that the second amendment brings to that constitutional guarantee.
Either the first statement does not apply or the second must be PROPERLY INTERPRETED.
I propose that the first part BEFORE THE COMMA, being usually ignored is the MOST IMPORTANT PART. The right to bear arms is tied to "a militia". that militia being "well regulated".
Resolve the conflict by being certain that owners of a certain type, or number of weapons are part of the individual states militia ornational guard.
