We need to review current laws in general but need to consider following Switzerland's example in regard to gun regulations. They require all citizens to own guns and have virtually no violent crime. The U.S. needs to take this into consideration for the people to better protect themselves. Some U.S. cities have become more violent than those of Mexico, South America, and Africa.
Restricting guns in the U.S. is by far the most ignorant thing to do. Examples of countries such as Russia and Mexico that have very strict gun laws also have a much higher overall murder rate.
