Gun laws
Please consider the suffering that occurs from the lax gun laws. While the NRA is a powerful lobby, it seems time to say no to the lobby's that would destroy our country to keep it for their "chosen few". Please speak up for us who want to leave in peace in safe neighborhoods without the threat of early death to ourselves and our children and neighbors. More loaded guns are not the answer. As registered nurse I have seen at close up range the devastation when a life is needlessly lost, or who lives, perhaps for years in a lifeless state. We all live in families who cherish our loved ones, yet their safety from gun violence is never assured. We can do better than that. The nihilists must not prevail.
