We need gun protection zones, not gun free zones. We protect everything with guns. We protect our country with an armed military. We protect our politicians and their families with armed security details. We protect our cities and streets with armed police officers. We need to protect our children the same way.
We implemented gun free school zones to protect our children. The result is more school shootings than ever before. The average number of US school shootings per year from 1764 to 1990 was 0.71. The average number of school shootings per year since the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 was implemented is 3.91! That is 5.5 times more shootings per year than before the act!
Politicians need to admit that Gun Free zones are the problem, not guns.
