Gun Sensors

Add sensors to all guns that will alert police if someone is in a gun free zone. School, government buildings, and other secure places will have a fighting chance to lock down if the sensor goes off. Add these sensors to new guns and require existing gun owners come into the police station to add the sensors or face a penalty for not adding it. Give everyone 90 days to add the sensor free of charge. If they do not register, charge them a penalty first, then bring charges against them. This will most certainly encourage the movement to sensors. If not, you can pay for the program with people waiting too long to get the sensor. Sounds far-fetched but it will most certainly cut down on death from guns in all aspects. The sensor should be able to alert if it is removed like an ankle bracelet.
