GUN VIOLENCE COMMISION

We had a commission after 9/11. I propose a Gun Violence commission to find REAL solutions to these issues. I am a gun owner and have heard many say new laws only affect legal owners. I've made the same argument so many times over the years. I've pointed at the hatred that leads to pulling a trigger against another human. I've argued that criminals would not be affected by more gun laws. They don't acquire guns legally. Where DO these illegal guns come from? S&W, Colt, Sig, and others are not selling them on the street. They are purchased legally and then sold to ANYONE who has cash because it is then legal to do so, even if the buyer is not allowed to have one. Private checks not required. Over time these guns make their way into the hands of the people we say won't be affected by new law
