The US is helping to fund an apartheid system and illegal settlements by the Israeli government at the expense of US taxpayers to the tune of $3.1 billion per annum (with an additional $288 million this year) largely in the form of weapons. This also includes the destruction of Palestinian homes, arable land, harassment of Palestinians through a multitude of checkpoints, illegal and uncharged detentions of Palestinians, a blockade of necessary supplies to Gaza, and unnecessary violence. The six major American media companies are entirely remiss in presenting the Palestinian side of this issue, a side which often reflects a majority consensus of other nations.
