Anheuser-Busch InBev has agreed the terms of its $108bn takeover of rival SABMiller, in a deal that will combine the world's two largest beer makers.
AB InBev, the maker of Budweiser, will pay $66.90 for each share in SABMiller, the price it offered on 13 October.
To clear the way for the takeover, SABMiller is to sell its 58% stake in its US joint venture MillerCoors.
It is selling the stake to its main partner in the business, Molson Coors, for $12bn.
AB InBev claims that this will allow for more choices in the market, however, AB InBev also owns many of the distributors that allow for smaller beer companies to distribute their beer successfully.
This could stifle the burgeoning craft beer industry and cannot be allowed to go through.
