Halt all foreign aid to Sudan until Meriam Ibrahim is freed.

Meriam Ibrahim, the wife of an American citizen and a pregnant mother, has been sentenced to death for apostasy by a Sudanese court. Additionally, she will receive 100 lashes for comitting "audultry" with her Christian husband. This human rights travesty demands action from our Government in defense of the wife of one of our citizens. We propose that any and all aid to the nation of Sudan by the American government or by proxy the United Nations, being heavily funded by American Dollars, be withheld until Meriam Ibrahim is released and cleared of all charges.
