Halt the closing of the Kirkwood Community College Equine Science Program.

This petition is to stop the closing of the Kirkwood Community College Equine Science Program in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Currently, the college administration has slated the closing of the program for Spring of 2016, with current students completing some internships as late as Summer 2016. After which time, no new graduate will be permitted and currently, no new applications are being accepted. This petition would seek to halt the closing and open new applications for students seeking education on the Horse Husbandry Industry and wishing to gain an associates degree in Equine Science before transferring to a four-year institute.
