The current Administration is driving small business closures through FSSI.
The required Small Business impact studies were never performed prior to competing these contracts. In a study released December 2011, GAO confirmed that the budget savings being touted by OFPP, OMB, and GSA are inflated. Public data shows that FSSI is costing taxpayers millions by putting hundreds, if not thousands of taxpaying employees out of work. The current FSSI vehicles are killing small business contractors by restraining & restricting trade, and diverting business from 530 small businesses that GSA and SBA are supposed to be supporting according to the FAR.
