Halt granting citizenship status to any immigrants until the Jobs/Unemployment and Economic crisis is under control

As of right now we have millions of people who are unemployed or underemployed. Simple Arithmetic tells you that granting citizenship status to millions more people will only serve to further the decline of our American born work force, who is and should be our main focus and priority. We can have sympathy for their plight but not at the expense of our own citizens. We are already under considerable financial stress due to the amount of people out of work so the last thing we, as a country, need is hordes of immigrants coming in and taking our jobs. The effort utilized in coming here illegally should be directed toward reforming their own country into a better place to live and work. Close our borders until our economy and employment situation is stable.
