Halt Hydraulic Fracturing until a time when it can be accurately and scientifically determined if it can be done safely.

For many, the concept of Hydraulic Fracturing AKA Fracking does not sound like a good idea. Unfortunately the lure of big money to be made here at home from a potential energy source has caused some to disregard the obvious dangers and unfortunate results that have occurred in places where tracking has been done. The need for energy is an important National goal. However, we must exercise caution and balance the implementation of this new technology with common sense. Testing for the safest and most effective ways of tracking must be established and Federal guidelines must be put in place to protect both the public and the environment. Until that is goal is reached tracking should not be allowed.
