The U.S. must halt military assistance and the supply of military spare parts to Egypt until a real civilian government elected by a fair, democratic, and inclusive election is put in place.
If the killing of civilians continues we should seek the cooperation of like minded nations to bring to bear escalating economic and financial pressure until the goal is achieved.
To refuse to call this a "coup" and continue to supply military aid is cynical and unconscionable enabling of this clear violation of human rights. To continue the current policy is simply un-American.
