In the past 14 years, there have been 87 continuing resolutions. Continuing resolutions drive further inefficiency in government spending and drive the nation deeper into debt while realizing less actual benefit for taxpayer money spent. Continued and excessive self-imposed economic challenges force wasteful decision-making to accomodate near-term needs at the cost of long-term progress and profitability. Force Congress to pass a national budget on-time for once, and motivate them with a real incentive that everyone understands - money.
If a worker does not do his job, he does not get paid for that job. The same should apply to those who represent him. Let Congress waste their own money instead of wasting money earned by the honest toil of the American laborer.
