The Department of Homeland Security has been purchasing excessive amounts of ammunition making it more difficult for hunters and other sportsmen to purchase ammunition necessary for their needs. We ask that the Department of Homeland Security reduce their purchase quantities.
The shortages of ammunition has also led to the inability of firearms instructors to provide ammunition for their classes resulting in cancelled classes. This affects the livelihood of Americans citizens. Without the ammunition being available to firearms instructors, the public will be less likely to properly defend themselves and to practice their marksmanship training. This can lead to more accidental shootings of innocent bystanders.
