The resettlement of unvetted persons from middle eastern countries affected by ISIS is a dangerous and extraordinary security risk to this nation. It is clear that ISIS has already infiltrated the ranks of immigrants to western nations and committed acts of terrorism in France, and has planned or attempted such acts in other countries. Bringing thousands of refugees from these areas to the U.S. ensures that this nation will be the future victim of such an attack or worse.
The executive branch is not empowered by the constitution or federal law to enact immigration law; only Congress has such power.
Thus, we the people, demand that any resettlement of persons from any country with regions of terrorist control or affects stop immediately.
