Too often store clerks are forced to sell cigarettes and thereby are caused to become drug pushers against their will. Nor should any form of of state or federal government cause or allow the unjust murder of its citizens for the sake of tax revenue. While people will foolishly smoke any effort that does not deter such behavior must not continue. No clerk should suffer any form of punishment for refusing to sell cigarettes, and grocery stores and pharmacies are the last place that should be permitted the retail of such items. Gasoline stations are next on the list.
