Halt Social Security taxation for working people until you resolve the shortfall problem.

Created by E.S. on October 25, 2014

Social Security faces an imminent shortfall in 2033. Poor management of the program has created the looming shortfall and working citizens should not be taxed to pay for a broken, unpredictable retirement supplement. Temporarily suspend Social Security taxation and allow citizens to invest those funds personally or fix the system via a large influx of funding that can be found in Iraq and Afghanistan war draw down savings. Develop a bipartisan working group to develop and implement a plan, by 2020 to stabilize and fund Social Security for the the long term future.
