halt the use of Daylight Savings time due to irrelevance and undue damage to health and increasing cost for US citizens

Created by C.B. on March 11, 2013

The annual switch to Daylight Savings Time reportedly continues to be a costly , with a net loss of $433,982,548 for the U.S. economy. Statistic also show that there is a great increase in Heart Attacks and Strokes within the 24 to 48 hours after the time changes. The US farmers no longer work in factories and farm in the evening as in WWII. The debatable energy savings seems to be an invalid argument. Emotional, physical and financial expense of DST appear to be greater than the supposed benefit of springing forward and then falling back.
