In the event of the looming government shutdown, loads of government employees will not have jobs, the military's personelle will get IOUs instead of paychecks, and congress will... you guessed it, NOT HAVE ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THEM WHATSOEVER!!!
This is not fair! Our congress should have consequences for their constant bickering and unwillingness to come to an agreement. I want failure to have direct consequences. My original idea of having a dumptruck of manure poured out onto the house floor might be a little much, but I like this instead.
In the event of congress not being able to reach an agreement about the budget, I'm demanding their pay and Obama's be cut in half and put towards the national debt. They wanted the office, they must sacrifice for the people or resign.
