The Boston terrorist attack, if it is to be classified as such, will undoubtedly ensure that the war on terror continues for many generations to come unless we change our foreign policy and make serious reforms to how we respond to terrorism.
It only takes two backpacks to change everything now. Gun control has been made all but irrelevant now thanks to #Boston.
I propose a comprehensive, government sponsored/supported/funded independent debate/report/panel/committee to draft a legally binding plan of action on combatting terrorism in the long term, and a well articulated definition. Do we suppress the due process of law temporarily and risk labeling an American citizen an “enemy combatant”?
