The maximum penalties for child abuse resulting in death or serious injury in most states is no more than 15 years! 15 years for repeatedly shaking your infant who's crying for what they need, 15 years for starving a child. 15 years for beating an infant. 15 years for raping a baby who's just learned to walk, 15 years for harming a little defenseless human in unspeakable ways. This MUST change! We must increase penalties for the criminals who harm our most cherished citizens. These innocent victims have no voice, they look to us for protection, and we are FAILING them! We call for longer jail sentences. We call for abolished parental rights in cases where the "parents" have harmed their babies. We call for no chance of lessened sentences for "good behavior". We call for Justice!
