In Cheatham County, Tennessee students have been deprived of higher level education in Advanced Placement classes for the past 3 years and there is no plan to bring them back any time soon. I am now a senior in High School so the bringing back of these classes would not have any effect on my current and future level of education, but many brilliant minded students are being withheld from full potential.
Advanced Placement classes offer a student the possibility of learning much more in depth on any given subject. I took Advanced Placement European History the last year it was offered and I can without a doubt say that I took away from that class much more than I did in any other class.
We should not restrict/ be restricted in educational advances and I hope you really consider this.
