Over the past few years Elio Motors has been traveling the country promising a new and revolutionary 3 wheeled vehicle that can get 84 mpg and go 100 mph can be built and will cost under 7,000 dollars. It has enticed people to pay between 100 and 1,000 dollars to reserve a vehicle.
The production dates change yearly and are continually extended with no end in site. Looking up financial information on Elio Motors is futile.
With the recent change in production dates to early 2015 to mid 2016 numerous people have asked for refunds based on the fact Elio Motors promised production in 2015. There is no plant, no equipment, no employees other then those promoting Elio Motors to sign people up to pay for 100 - 1,000 dollar reservations.
WE request FTC, and the Attorney General investigate.
