A new election process in which the American public doesn't know the people running except by a series of essays which outline their views on SPECIFIC TOPICS, not a free-for-all. In order to make it to the election tier, any candidate may complete an exam to determine if they are fit to run (intelligent). This would allow the American public to vote based SOLEY on the issues and not on the color of their skin, the depth of their bank account or their charisma.
