Whereas: The Constitution was ratified by the required number of states on 6/21/1788 (NH was the ninth state)

Whereas: The specific separation and duties of each branch are outlined in the Constitution.

Whereas: A bill of rights was created to protect the citizens from the government.

Whereas: The Constitution should serve as the framework for all of the laws that are created.

Whereas: Our elected officials frequently overstep the boundaries of the Constitution.

Therefor we petition the federal government to have all elected officials re-swear or affirm their oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
