Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. The meetings between Congress and the President Of The United States should never be closed door. All meetings will be filmed,recorded and posted on whitehouse.gov or CSPAN. They must work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency and collaboration. Open government will promote efficiency and effectiveness used as a means of holding public officials accountable and fighting corruption. When a government's meetings are open to the press and the public,its proposed laws and decisions can be viewed by the taxpayers who are the employers. There is less opportunity for the elected employees to abuse the system for their own interests.
