This petition is to begin proper reform of our current judicial system when government members and/or their officers are concerned.
Having a prosecution team that normally works with a police department in the line of duty to prosecute a police officer is a clear conflict of interests. By the very nature of their jobs, they are not impartial to an officer of the law, as our judicial system requires.
This petition requests that law be created that requires all prosecution of Police or judicial officials be handled by a private attorney(s) that have had not previous dealings directly or indirectly with Police officials. The funds normally allocated toward the prosecution department for this would simply be paid to the private party.
