We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

To have all public school teachers/educators' federal student loans completely and entirely forgiven.

Created by M.W. on September 24, 2016

Teachers have one of the biggest responsibilities in this nation. Educators spend countless hours and resources in preparing to inspire children, the future of our world. Often their efforts go overlooked, however one way to raise national morale about education is to reward the individuals who take on this challenge every day. Teachers also spend their own hard earned money to take courses toward advanced degrees in the field of education as well as taking courses to better equip them in the classroom. Teacher debt as well as teacher pay are both important issues to be resolved. Forgiving the federal student loans of todays public school educators is definitely one way to encourage our teachers to continue to be at their best as well as uplift their financial burden.
