The new administration is calling for student loan reform that does not assist those persons that have paid their student loan payments on time for the previous ten years. I would like the administration to grant full forgiveness of the remaining debt or give assistance to those that have sacrificed by making on time payments for ten years or more, those that have not been in default during the course of their loan history. Currently there is no assistance program to aid neither these individuals nor those that have diligently paid their student loans for ten years or more. These individuals deserve assistance and consideration for the sacrifices they have made to pay their debts. If full forgiveness is not an option please consider other relief options that will assist this population.
