have an amendment added to the U. S. Constitution requiring term limits of United States Senators and Representatives.

Created by C.G. on May 20, 2013

Add an amendment to the U. S. Constitution prohibiting United States Senators and Congressman from serving more than two elected appointments. An elected official having served two terms would no longer be eligible to run for office at the same level. Currently there are NO term limits for either elected official. This would prevent career politicians from establishing oligarchies. This would help prevent abuses of power. This would allow for new individuals to hold office and new ideas to help keep our republic of the people, by the people, and for the people.
