Every day thousands of animals are put through experiments. They suffer alone, isolated and in pain. "219 animals are killed every minute in a U.S. lab" (Peta).
You might wonder, why should I care? Animals are not the same as humans. They react differently to products. Therefore, there reactions are not going to be there same as yours, putting yourself at risk. Therefore, thousands of animals are being put through pain for no reason. Therefore, animal testing is unreliable, unsafe and unnecessary.
On a more sensitive note, if humans were used to be experimented on, it would stop immediately. Why test on a bunny and not on a human. Treat animals as our equals.
