Today the White House ruled out the use of military force in Ukraine. Ukraine is an ally of the United States. It is our responsibility to defend our allies when attacked. Russian forces are currently illegally occupying the Crimea, attacking Ukrainian forces and advancing onward.
Mr. Obama must come out of his fairy tale world, find his backbone, project strength and stand up the Russians. They are taking advantage of Obama's weakness to expand their influence, power and positioning at the expense of American influence, power and positioning.
Foreign policy is not about singing Kumbaya around the campfire. It is a global chess match and we have continued to be clobbered by every player on the board under Obama. Enough is enough. Send the military and watch the Russians step back.
