The greatest hurdle which prevents resolution on matters such as those found in Crimea, Cypress, and the Senkaku islands is an absolute lack of trust. Even our own american influence is limited by this trust issue and it is the same problem which nearly destroyed the world during the Cold War. We must build a new foundation of trust in this world by speaking over a beer and listening to each other.
We the american public need to reach out to the other peoples of the world and show them our benevolence. So let's do just that. The Obama administration should invite world leaders and representatives to events across the country where these esteemed guests can voice their people's goals and hear many of our own.
A person can talk to almost anyone across the world but it seems no one is.
