If "Cam" Newton was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. Then he would have been rinsed clean with water that is delivered in pipes paid for through taxing the people of Atlanta. From his first breathe, until he left to play football in Florida.
Football he learned in Atlanta, Ga. On its public recreational fields. Or in its public schools. Which are also paid for by the people of Atlanta.
We the people of Atlanta feel that if any city should reap the economic benefit of Cam Newton playing football, or using his mind molded in Altanta publicly funded schools, it should be Atlanta and not Charlotte.
Even the celebrations, are representations of a culture that only exist in the Atlanta public. We the people feel out taxes were an investment, and that he should be a Falcon.
