The partisan rhetoric spewed by Republican and Democrats is bankrupting the nation. My generation will be forced to pay the piper for the failure to enact meaningful Social Security reform and craft legislation to create well paying jobs in the US.
This petition is to entice Mr. President and Mr. Speaker to have a closed meeting with a candlelight dinner where the only things to be discussed are entitlement reforms such as raising the retirement age and meaningful job legislation such as reforming the NLRB or eliminating repatriation taxes to allow companies to hire in the US for good wages.
My generation is already saddled with student loan debt. Don't put us further behind the Eight Ball and lose our American Dream.
I'll even cook the dinner, if necessary.
