Cardinals Roger Mahoney and Timothy Dolan have both admitted that they aided and abetted the abuse and rape of American children by Catholic priests, actively concealing the crimes and turning the criminals lose without bothering to inform the authorities, or even the locals. These men, and those like them, are criminals. This conspiracy continues even to this day. They belong in prison. And now they are about to flee the United States to Vatican City, a sovereign nation, to participate in electing a pope. They should not be permitted to leave the country until they have paid for their crimes in prison. Please direct Attorney General Holder to indict these men, and others like them, for engaging in this vast interstate, even international, conspiracy to abuse and rape children.
