Have the CDC Determine if Smoking Marijauna also causes Lung Cancer

Created by E.H. on November 30, 2012

Please have the CDC provide research and opinion concerning whether the now legal use of marijauna in CO and WA will contribute to an increase in pulmonary disease, lung cancer and throat cancer as previously found with smoking in general. According to the internet "One study demonstrated a doubling in lung cancer for male marijuana smokers who also used tobacco. Another study found that long-term use of marijuana increased the risk of lung cancer in young adults (55 and under), with the risk increasing in proportion to the amount of marijuana smoked." Did the states consider the health care impact to already escalating health care costs in the US when this was legalized? Will this product have a warning label and will Health care premiums for users go up?
