We all know that fracking may cause contamination to groundwater by introducing a lot of chemicals into the shale bedrock layer. Eventually this water could contaminate water sources used for tap, drinking, or irrigation. All of these are alarming especially the drinking water and irrigation water contamination. If these chemicals get into our water supply or our water used for irrigation there could be a lot of fracking-related illnesses or deaths, that is why I suggest that the CDC/EPA inspect company fracking sites and deem them safe or unsafe to the public water supply. There are better ways to find oil or natural gas because fracking has a low profits for what is put into making the well and extracting the substance. Better ways to find fuel would be to keep water safe.
